ACT zwart 5 m U/FTP CAT6A LSZH Slimline-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers 90° haaks (omlaag) naar recht

ACT CAT6A U/FTP LSZH Slimline patch cable, 5 m, is a reduced-diameter Cat6a connection cable designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and professional network installations. The cable uses U/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs) shielding and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket. It is fitted with gold-plated RJ45 connectors: one straight and one 90° angled down, so it fits in cabinets and behind equipment while maintaining the required bend radius.

Advantages

The slimline 3.8 mm outer diameter improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets compared with standard thicker CAT6A patch cords, while the smaller bend radius and 90° down connector save space in confined installations. Full copper 32 AWG conductors and 50 µin gold-plated RJ45 contacts support stable signal integrity and reduced crosstalk. The LSZH jacket reduces the risk of toxic gas emission in case of fire or cable damage.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This slimline cable is intended for structured networks and patching where reduced diameter and tighter cable routing are required; it may not be the best choice where extreme mechanical robustness is needed, for example in environments with heavy physical abrasion or repeated flexing. For very long permanent horizontal runs or environments requiring the thickest insulation for mechanical protection, a standard-diameter cable could be preferable.

How to use

Connect the straight RJ45 plug to the network device or switch and use the 90° down RJ45 plug toward the patch panel or port with restricted clearance, ensuring the cable follows the natural bend without sharp kinks. Route the slimline cable through rack cable management trays or behind equipment to take advantage of improved airflow. Verify link speed and performance on the connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

Use this ACT CAT6A U/FTP LSZH slimline patch cable where space is constrained and airflow is important: route it cleanly along rack management, avoid sharp bends beyond the bend radius, and ensure proper connector orientation (90° down to straight) to minimise stress on ports and maintain reliable 10 Gigabit links.
