Actieve luidsprekerset Omnitronic BOB-10A ws met 8× BOB-4 ws (model 20000537)

The Omnitronic Active Speaker System Omnitronic BOB-10A ws with 8× BOB-4 ws (model 20000537) is a compact multi-speaker solution that pairs one powered 10" main unit with eight smaller active satellite speakers to provide distributed audio coverage for events, venues and fixed installations. The system is designed to reduce the need for external amplification by combining a single powered sub/full-range enclosure with multiple active satellites, allowing simplified cabling and centralized control of sound distribution.

Advantages

This speaker set delivers a balanced approach to coverage and system simplicity by using a single powered 10" unit together with eight active satellites. The configuration reduces external amplifier requirements and enables more even sound dispersion across a larger area compared with a single loudspeaker. Compact satellite speakers reduce installation footprint and are suitable for permanent or temporary setups where space and wiring management are important. The integrated active satellites offer local amplification at each cabinet, which can improve signal routing and minimize power distribution complexity.

How to use

Place the powered 10" main unit where it can serve as the central source for low and mid frequencies, and arrange the eight BOB-4 ws satellites around the venue to achieve even coverage. Connect signal sources to the main unit following the manufacturer's input routing; use suitable speaker cables or network cabling as required by the system's connectivity options. Power each active satellite according to the supplied instructions and adjust level controls to balance output between the main speaker and satellites. Perform a sound check and make incremental level and EQ adjustments to suit the room acoustics and application.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, mount satellites at appropriate heights and angles to minimize reflections and ensure audience-area coverage. Start with conservative levels during setup and increase gradually while monitoring for distortion. When used in permanent installations, secure mounting hardware and appropriate cable management are recommended to maintain system reliability.
