Afgeschermde Cat 6A opbouw-aansluitdoos Helos 74276-SET 2-poorts

The helos Shielded Cat 6A Surface Connection Box 2‑Port is a surface-mounted outlet designed for shielded Cat 6A cabling and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. It provides a compact housing to terminate and patch shielded RJ45 keystones or modules on walls, panels or inside equipment cabinets. The enclosure supports a two-port layout that keeps connections accessible while maintaining cable shielding continuity for environments that require reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

This surface connection box is built for shielded structured cabling and supports Cat 6A performance up to 10 Gbps. The housing simplifies termination and patching tasks by accommodating two keystone modules, and its surface-mount format enables flexible placement on walls, workstations or cabinet interiors. The design helps preserve shielding continuity and provides a protected outlet that reduces mechanical stress on cable terminations.

Suitable for

• Office network outlets where shielded Cat 6A is required
• Data cabinets and patching areas needing additional surface-mounted ports
• Wall-mounted network connections in meeting rooms, open offices or technical rooms
• On-site installations where a compact, two-port surface box simplifies layout

Key specifications

• Compatibility: shielded Cat 6A keystone jacks and modules
• Port count: 2 accessible RJ45 keystone positions
• Performance: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet (Cat 6A) when used with appropriate components
• Mounting: surface-mount for walls, panels or cabinet interiors
• Shielding: metal/grounding provisions to maintain cable shield continuity (verify module grounding method during installation)
• Material and finish: durable enclosure suitable for typical office and technical environments

How to use

Mount the surface connection box to a clean, flat surface using appropriate screws or mounting hardware for the substrate. Fit compatible shielded Cat 6A keystone jacks into the two keystone openings and perform shield termination according to the keystone and cable manufacturer instructions, ensuring the shielding is properly bonded to the box or grounding point. After termination, test each connection with a qualified network tester to verify Cat 6A performance and correct shielding continuity.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat 6A keystone modules and follow the cable vendor’s grounding guidelines to ensure effective EMI protection. Leave enough cable slack behind the module openings to enable secure terminations and strain relief. Verify with a certified tester after installation to confirm 10 Gbps link performance and proper shield continuity.
