Stovetop aluminum moka pot Maestro MR-1657-3-BEIGE is a compact 3-cup espresso-style coffee maker designed for manual brewing on gas or electric stovetops. The pot is constructed from aluminum with a beige exterior finish and comprises a lower water chamber, a filter basket for ground coffee and an upper collection chamber. Its compact size and simple operation make it suitable for home kitchens, small households and travel situations where a small, durable stovetop brewer is required.

Advantages

The aluminum body ensures fast heat transfer and relatively low weight while the three-cup capacity provides multiple small servings of strong, espresso-style coffee. The design is simple to operate and maintain: the three-part construction is easy to disassemble for filling, rinsing and drying. The beige exterior offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance that fits a variety of kitchen styles. No electricity beyond the stovetop heat source is required, making the unit suitable for use in locations without additional appliances.

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with water up to the safety valve level, insert the filter basket and add finely ground coffee without tamping. Screw the upper collection chamber firmly onto the base, place the moka pot on a preheated stovetop over medium heat, and wait until coffee begins to flow into the top chamber. Remove from heat when the flow subsides and allow the pressure to equalize briefly before opening. Pour and serve directly from the top chamber. After cooling, disassemble and rinse all parts; dry thoroughly before storage.

Recommendations

Use medium-fine to fine ground coffee suited for stovetop moka pots and avoid overfilling the filter basket. Monitor heat to prevent boiling over or burnt flavor; medium heat produces steady extraction. Clean by rinsing with warm water and avoid abrasive cleaners or dishwashers to preserve the aluminum finish. For best results, preheat the stovetop and use fresh water and freshly ground coffee.
