Ankerbout FISCHER Thermax 10/180 M6 staal zink/nylon 10 mm

FISCHER Thermax 10/180 M6 Steel Zinc/Nylon 10 mm is an anchor bolt engineered for reliable fixing in a variety of construction substrates. The product combines a steel anchor body with zinc plating and a nylon sleeve to provide mechanical anchoring for insulation and other thermal-sensitive installations. With a 10 mm diameter and 180 mm length paired with an M6 threaded end, this anchor bolt is intended for use where a compact, robust fixing is required while maintaining compatibility with insulation systems and lightweight facades.

Advantages

The steel construction with zinc plating offers corrosion resistance suitable for many indoor and sheltered outdoor applications, while the nylon sleeve improves load distribution and reduces stress on the substrate. The 10 mm diameter and 180 mm length provide penetration depth for stable anchoring in common base materials. The M6 thread ensures compatibility with a range of bolts and washers for easy assembly. Designed for straightforward installation, the anchor allows consistent performance across repetitive fixings.

Suitable for

• Fixing insulation boards and thermal insulation systems
• Securing lightweight façade elements and cladding
• Attaching non-structural brackets, rails and fixtures
• Retrofit or new-build applications in masonry, concrete and aerated concrete

Key specifications

• Anchor diameter: 10 mm
• Total length: 180 mm
• Thread size at end: M6
• Materials: steel anchor body with zinc plating and nylon sleeve
• Suitable base materials: concrete, solid masonry, aerated concrete (follow substrate-specific guidelines)

How to use

Drill a hole to the specified diameter and depth for the 10 mm anchor, clean the hole of dust and debris, insert the anchor with the nylon sleeve flush to the surface, and tighten the M6 bolt or screw to the recommended torque. For thermal insulation systems, ensure the anchor length provides sufficient embedment beyond the insulation thickness to reach the load-bearing substrate. Observe manufacturer guidelines for drill bit type and hole-cleaning methods to achieve the intended performance.

Recommendations

Use this anchor with appropriate washers and corrosion-resistant fasteners where exposure may be present. Verify substrate condition and follow local codes for spacing and edge distances. For high loads, dynamic stresses, or applications in aggressive environments, consult technical documentation or a structural engineer to confirm suitability.
