Antennecontactdoos ShiverPeaks S/CONN maximale connectiviteit BK+SAT wandcontactdoos 2,5 dB (15-95001)

ShiverPeaks S/CONN maximum connectivity BK+SAT wall socket provides combined terrestrial (BK) and satellite (SAT) signal termination in a compact wall-mounted unit. The outlet is designed for installations where a single point must deliver both TV and satellite signals with a fixed attenuation of 2.5 dB and an S/CONN connection format for reliable cable termination. It is suitable for living rooms, apartments and distribution cabinets in residential or light-commercial environments.

Advantages

The wall socket integrates BK and SAT outputs in one faceplate, reducing the need for separate outlets and simplifying wiring. The S/CONN connection format offers secure mechanical and electrical contact for coaxial cables, improving signal consistency. A defined 2.5 dB attenuation helps match signal levels in cascaded or distributed systems, minimising risk of overload to connected receivers. The compact design fits standard wall boxes and supports installation by electricians or experienced installers.

Suitable for

• Home TV and satellite receiver connections in living rooms and bedrooms
• Apartment installations where combined BK+SAT output is required
• Distribution cabinets and low-complexity signal distribution panels
• Refurbishment projects replacing separate TV and satellite outlets with a single socket

Key specifications

• Signal type: combined terrestrial (BK) and satellite (SAT)
• Connection format: S/CONN coaxial termination
• Attenuation: 2.5 dB
• Mounting: standard wall box / flush-mount installation
• Application environment: residential and light-commercial indoor use

How to use

Install the outlet in a standard flush-mount wall box following local electrical and building regulations. Terminate the incoming coaxial cable to the S/CONN connector ensuring correct polarity and secure mechanical engagement. Connect the BK output to the terrestrial TV cable and the SAT output to the satellite receiver cable. Verify connections and use a signal level meter or the receiver's signal indicators to confirm adequate signal strength after the fixed 2.5 dB attenuation. If unsure, consult a qualified installer.

Recommendations

Use high-quality coaxial cable with appropriate shielding and maintain correct grounding of the antenna system. When integrating multiple outlets or amplifiers, account for the 2.5 dB attenuation per outlet in the overall link budget. Avoid excessive bending or strain on the S/CONN connector during installation to maintain long-term signal reliability.
