APRA apraNET - Rack - Rek - Lichtgrijs, RAL 7035 - 3U - 48,3 cm (19 inch)

Standard 19-inch racks often leave non-rackmount equipment, small devices, and tools without a secure home, creating clutter and risking damage. The APRA apraNET rack shelf solves this by providing a sturdy, fixed platform that mounts directly into your existing rack, turning unused vertical space into organized storage.

Who is it for

IT professionals, network administrators, and system integrators who need to support equipment that lacks rack ears—such as small switches, modems, test instruments, or spare parts—inside a standard 19" server rack or network cabinet. It is equally useful in data centers, server rooms, and industrial enclosures.

Main features

• 3U height occupies minimal rack space while offering a stable surface.
• Compatible with all standard 19-inch racks (EIA-310-D), including server racks and network cabinets.
• Light grey powder-coated steel construction (RAL 7035) blends seamlessly with most rack interiors and resists scratches and corrosion.
• Fixed, non-ventilated shelf design supports equipment without airflow restrictions, ideal for devices that do not require bottom cooling.
• Front-mounted installation for quick and secure attachment to rack posts; mounting hardware not included.

Tips

Before installation, verify that your rack's vertical rails have the appropriate cage nuts or threaded holes for the shelf's mounting screws. For heavier equipment, distribute weight evenly across the shelf and consider adding a rear support bracket if your rack allows. The solid surface also helps contain small items, but avoid placing devices that require bottom ventilation directly on the shelf without spacers.
