Access Point HPE Instant On AP32 2,4 GHz 5 GHz 6 GHz Wi-Fi 6

The HPE Networking Instant On AP32 is a Wi‑Fi CERTIFIED 6E access point designed for small and medium businesses that need future-ready wireless connectivity across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. It supports Wi‑Fi 6E operation on the 6 GHz band, delivers up to 2400 Mbit/s wireless data rate, and includes a 2.5GbE uplink with Power over Ethernet to simplify installation and ensure sufficient backhaul capacity.

Advantages

The AP32 provides higher capacity and capability by using the 6 GHz band for Wi‑Fi 6E devices, while its 2x2 antenna array with 2 spatial streams supports robust connectivity for up to 75 client devices and theoretical wireless throughput up to 2.8 Gbps. Integrated 2.5GbE Ethernet and PoE reduce cabling complexity and support modern network speeds. Security features include support for OWE, WPA2 and WPA3.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business offices
• Retail stores and customer-facing areas
• Meeting rooms and collaborative workspaces
• Environments requiring multi-band Wi‑Fi 6/6E coverage

How to use

Install the AP32 at a central location and connect it to your network switch or router using the 2.5GbE RJ‑45 port. Power the device via PoE from a compatible switch or PoE injector. Use the HPE Networking Instant On mobile app or web interface to configure SSIDs, select which frequency bands to broadcast (for example 5 GHz + 6 GHz for higher throughput or 2.4 GHz + 6 GHz for greater range), enable security settings (OWE, WPA2, WPA3) and monitor connected clients.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in mixed-device environments, segregate legacy devices onto 2.4 GHz and enable 5 GHz and 6 GHz for modern Wi‑Fi 6/6E clients; ensure your upstream network supports 2.5GbE to avoid bottlenecks.
