Aston Microphones Element Bundle microfoon

The Aston Microphones Element Bundle combines a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a resilient shock mount and a pop filter to provide a ready-to-use recording solution for studio and home setups. The microphone delivers clear, detailed audio with low self-noise and a design that addresses unwanted vibration and plosive sounds. This bundle is intended for users who need reliable capture of vocals and acoustic instruments with consistent performance.

Advantages

The included condenser microphone offers a wide frequency response and low inherent noise, enabling transparent capture of vocals and instruments. The shock mount reduces handling and stand-borne vibrations, while the pop filter minimizes plosives and breath noise for cleaner takes. The components are built to withstand regular studio use and provide repeatable results across sessions.

Suitable for

• Studio vocal recording
• Home studio podcasting and voiceover work
• Recording acoustic guitars, piano, and other acoustic instruments
• Project and professional music production
• Streaming and online content creation

Key specifications

• Microphone type: large-diaphragm condenser
• Polar pattern: cardioid (designed primarily for frontal pickup)
• Low self-noise for high signal-to-noise ratio
• Included accessories: shock mount and pop filter
• Construction: robust metal and engineered components for studio durability
• Recommended use: vocals and acoustic instruments

How to use

Mount the microphone in the supplied shock mount and attach the assembly to a suitable microphone stand. Position the pop filter between the sound source and the microphone to reduce plosive sounds. Connect the microphone to a mixer or audio interface that provides the required phantom power and set input gain to achieve a healthy level without clipping. Adjust distance and angle to balance proximity effect and room sound; typically 10–30 cm for vocals depending on desired warmth and presence.

Recommendations

For best results in vocal recording, use a pop filter and position the microphone slightly off-axis to reduce sibilance and plosives. Use the shock mount to isolate the microphone from stand and floor vibrations. Monitor levels while recording and apply gentle EQ and compression during mixing if necessary to suit the voice or instrument.
