ASUS HA3281A computermonitor 80 cm (31,5 inch) 3840 x 2160 pixel 4K Ultra HD LCD zwart

The ASUS HA3281A is a 31.5" 4K Ultra HD LCD monitor with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a flat 16:9 aspect ratio. Built on a pure RGB OLED stripe panel with LCD drive, the display delivers very high contrast and deep blacks by using self-illuminating pixels. The monitor offers a rapid 0.1 ms response time, wide 178° viewing angles and a typical brightness of 250 cd/m². Designed for professional and healthcare environments, the HA3281A is factory-calibrated for DICOM Part 14 GSDF compliance and includes a built-in colorimeter that supports self and automatic calibration to maintain long-term grayscale and color accuracy.

Advantages

The ASUS HA3281A combines an OLED stripe panel’s intrinsic high contrast with precise factory calibration for reliable grayscale and color stability required in clinical and professional settings. Its fast response time, wide viewing angles and high pixel density support detailed image rendering. Built-in connectivity includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub with a USB Type-C downstream port for straightforward device integration, while VESA mounting and adjustable height support ergonomic setups. The unit’s anti-glare, low-reflection surface and pure RGB design reduce reflections and improve visual clarity.

Suitable for

• Medical imaging review and diagnostic workstations that require DICOM Part 14 compliance
• Radiology and PACS viewing where accurate grayscale and fine gradation are essential
• Professional imaging, color-critical review and inspection tasks
• Workstations needing a high-resolution 31.5" 4K Ultra HD display with ergonomic mounting

How to use

Position the monitor on a stable surface or install it using a compatible VESA mount. Connect the video source using the appropriate input supported by the system and connect USB devices to the built-in USB hub or the Type-C downstream port. Use the integrated colorimeter and the monitor’s on-screen menu to perform self-calibration or enable automatic calibration routines to preserve DICOM Part 14 grayscale accuracy. Adjust the height and ergonomics to align the display with the viewer’s eye level and minimize reflections using the unit’s anti-glare surface.

Recommendations

For reliable clinical viewing, allow the display to warm up for a short period before diagnostic reading, perform regular calibration checks with the built-in colorimeter, and place the monitor in a controlled lighting environment with minimal direct glare. Avoid using built-in speakers for critical audio tasks and ensure the monitor is mounted or positioned to meet ergonomic standards for extended use.
