ASUS ROG Carnyx BLK zwart tafelmicrofoon

The ROG Carnyx is a professional cardioid USB microphone with a 25 mm condenser capsule and a 192 kHz / 24-bit sampling rate, designed to deliver natural and detailed vocal recordings. It includes a high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency noise, a built-in pop filter to prevent plosives, and a metal shock mount to minimize external vibrations, while a one-touch mute button and a multifunction control knob provide convenient control for recording and streaming.

Advantages

The larger 25 mm condenser capsule improves low-frequency response and produces warm, natural vocal tones. The high 192 kHz / 24-bit sampling rate preserves fine vocal detail for high-fidelity recordings. The cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound from the front and reduces pickup from the sides and rear, making the microphone well suited for solo streaming, podcasting, and gaming. Built-in solutions such as the high-pass filter, metal shock mount and foam-and-mesh pop filter reduce background rumble, table vibrations and plosive sounds for cleaner takes. Real-time monitoring via a 3.5 mm headset jack and an intuitive control knob add practical flexibility during sessions.

How to use

Connect the ROG Carnyx to a computer or laptop using the supplied USB cable. Mount the microphone using a compatible stand or boom arm (3/8-inch thread adapter included). Position the microphone facing the sound source, keeping a suitable distance to avoid plosives; the built-in pop filter and high-pass filter help reduce unwanted noise. Use the multifunction control knob to adjust mic volume, monitoring volume or toggle the high-pass filter, and use the one-touch mute button to mute audio instantly; holding the mute button for two seconds toggles the RGB lighting.

Recommendations

For best results, place the microphone on a stable stand and enable the high-pass filter when recording in environments with low-frequency rumble. Use the 3.5 mm headphone output for zero-latency monitoring and adjust levels with the control knob to avoid clipping. The microphone is optimized for single-voice captures such as streaming, podcasting and gaming.
