ATEN 4-poorts 4K DisplayPort 1.2a splitter

The ATEN VS194A-AT-G 4-Port 4K DisplayPort Splitter lets a single DisplayPort source feed up to four DisplayPort displays at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160. Designed for multi-display setups, the unit features a durable metal housing, compact dimensions (80 × 125 × 25 mm) and low typical power consumption (3.36 W). The package includes the VS194 splitter, a 0AD6-1005-26EG power adapter and user instructions.

Advantages

The splitter supports true 4K DisplayPort 1.2a output to multiple displays while preserving audio and video signals. Its metal enclosure provides mechanical protection and helps with heat dissipation. With four output ports and a compact footprint, the device is suitable for installations where one source must be displayed on several screens simultaneously. Low power consumption and straightforward plug-and-play operation simplify deployment.

Suitable for

• Digital signage systems
• Control rooms and monitoring stations
• Conference rooms and presentation setups
• Retail displays and exhibition booths

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort source (PC, media player or other compatible device) to the splitter's input port, then connect up to four DisplayPort monitors to the output ports. Attach the supplied 0AD6-1005-26EG power adapter and switch on the unit. The splitter mirrors or expands the source audio/video signal to all connected displays; no special drivers are required for basic operation. Ensure connected displays support the target resolution and use DisplayPort-certified cables for best results.

Recommendations

For stable 4K output, use high-quality DisplayPort 1.2 or higher cables and verify that the source device supports 4K@60Hz via DisplayPort 1.2a. Allow adequate ventilation around the metal housing and avoid stacking other heat-generating equipment directly on top of the unit.
