USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 ShiverPeaks BS77031-1 1m blauw

The ShiverPeaks USB Cable USB 3.2 Gen 1 BS77031-1 1m Blue is a one-metre USB A to USB A cable designed for high-speed wired connections between compatible devices. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (previously known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s and is fitted with nickel-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance and stable signal transmission. The cable's blue jacket and standard USB A connectors make it suitable for desktop systems, external peripherals and other equipment that use A-to-A connections.

Advantages

This USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable provides up to 5 Gbit/s transfer speed for fast file copying and responsive peripheral communication. Nickel-plated contacts help maintain consistent electrical contact and resist wear, while the 1 m length balances reach and cable management on a desk or workstation. The A-to-A connector format enables direct connections between host and compatible devices without adapters when both ends accept USB A plugs.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives or SSD enclosures to computers that accept USB A input
• Linking printers, scanners and other USB A-equipped peripherals
• Data transfer and backup between two compatible USB A devices
• Temporary device setup, demonstrations or workstation cable routing where 1 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 5 Gbit/s
• Connector type: USB A to USB A (both ends)
• Cable length: 1 metre
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Colour: blue

How to use

Insert each USB A connector into the corresponding USB A ports on the two devices you intend to link, ensuring a secure fit. For optimal transfer rates, connect to USB 3.2/3.1 Gen 1 or higher ports on compatible hardware; when connected to older USB ports the cable will operate at the maximum speed supported by those ports. Avoid forcing connectors or bending the cable sharply near the ends to prevent damage to the plug or internal conductors.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free from excessive tension, heat or moisture. For sustained high-speed transfers, connect both devices to USB 3.2 Gen 1-compliant ports and avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic interference sources. Inspect the nickel-plated contacts periodically and clean with a dry, lint-free cloth if needed.
