Avision documentenscanner AD380 A4 duplex, tot 40 pagina's/min., A4-origineel

Avision AD380 is a desktop document scanner engineered for A4 originals with duplex capture and an automatic document feeder. The unit scans both sides of a sheet in a single pass and handles batch jobs to convert paper invoices, contracts and records into searchable digital files. With a rated throughput of up to 40 pages per minute, the AD380 is intended to streamline routine office digitization and reduce physical storage.

Advantages

The scanner combines single-pass duplex scanning with an automatic feeder to deliver consistent two-sided images without manual page flipping. Its A4 feed design accommodates standard office documents and receipts. High throughput enables faster processing of multi-page batches, while reliable feeding minimizes interruptions during back-to-back scanning tasks. The device produces digital files suitable for archiving and electronic workflows.

Suitable for

• Digitizing invoices and receipts for accounting and archival
• Scanning contracts and legal documents for electronic storage
• Converting multi-page records and reports into searchable files
• Regular office workflows requiring medium-volume batch scanning

Key specifications

• Supported original size: A4 (standard office paper sizes compatible)
• Duplex capability: single-pass two-sided scanning
• Throughput: up to 40 pages per minute (single-sided pages)
• Automatic document feeder for batch scanning
• Interface: standard PC connection for document transfer and control

How to use

Place a stack of A4 documents in the automatic document feeder with the top edge aligned and the faces positioned according to the feed guide. Connect the scanner to a computer and start the provided scanning software or a compatible capture application. Choose duplex scanning and desired output format, then initiate the scan job. Monitor the feeder during long runs to ensure documents pass smoothly and check scanned files for completeness and correct orientation after the job finishes.

Recommendations

For reliable feeding and consistent image quality, remove staples and paper clips before scanning and straighten folded edges. Use the automatic feeder for batches of similar-sized A4 documents; for mixed sizes or delicate originals, consider single-sheet handling. Configure software settings for duplex capture and OCR if searchable text is required, and perform occasional cleaning of feed rollers to maintain performance.
