Box 7590 AX WLAN-router Gigabit Ethernet dualband (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz) wit

The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 is a tabletop router designed for home and small-office networks. It supports dual-band wireless operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and implements the Wi‑Fi 6 standard (802.11ax) while remaining backward compatible with 802.11a/g/n/ac devices. The unit offers four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for wired connections, a USB port for shared storage or printer connection, and LED indicators for DSL, WLAN and WPS status. The router is supplied in white and includes the necessary cables for initial setup.

Advantages

The device combines Wi‑Fi 6 performance with dual‑band flexibility to improve throughput and handle multiple connected devices. Gigabit Ethernet interfaces provide stable high‑speed wired links for desktops, consoles and network storage. Built‑in security supports WPA2 and WPA3 protocols for encrypted wireless access. A USB port allows local file or peripheral sharing, and LED indicators simplify status monitoring during installation and operation.

Suitable for

• Home networks with multiple smartphones, laptops and smart home devices
• Small office setups requiring mixed wired and wireless connections
• Streaming 4K video and online gaming on several devices simultaneously
• Sharing a USB storage device or printer on the local network

How to use

Place the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX on a stable surface in a central location to maximize wireless coverage. Connect the router to your DSL or internet modem using the provided cable, then attach wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports as needed. Power on the unit and observe the LED indicators for DSL and WLAN status. Configure network name (SSID), wireless password and security settings through the router’s web interface or companion management app following the on‑screen prompts. If required, connect a USB storage device or printer to the USB port and enable sharing in the interface.

Recommendations

For optimal wireless performance, position the router away from large metal objects and other electronic devices that may cause interference. Use the 5 GHz band for latency‑sensitive applications like gaming and 4K streaming, and reserve 2.4 GHz for longer‑range or legacy devices. Keep firmware up to date and use WPA3 where supported to maintain network security.
