Axis 02580-001 bewakingscamera box IP-bewakingscamera binnen 1920 x 1080 pixels plafond/muur

AXIS 02580-001 is a wired Box IP security camera designed for indoor ceiling or wall mounting. The black-form-factor camera delivers Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution using a 1/3" CMOS sensor (optical sensor size 25.4 / 3 mm) and a varifocal lens with a focal length range of 3–10.5 mm. With a minimum illumination of 0.02 lx and a horizontal field of view of 90° (vertical 49°), the camera supports detailed video capture in low-light indoor environments.

Advantages

The camera provides Full HD image quality with a flexible focal length to adapt framing for different indoor scenes. Its wired connectivity ensures stable network transmission suitable for continuous surveillance. The compact box form and black finish allow discreet placement on ceilings or walls. A sensitive CMOS sensor and low minimum illumination specification enable improved performance in dim lighting without additional lighting equipment.

How to use

Install the camera on a suitable indoor ceiling or wall surface using appropriate mounts and fixings for a box-style camera. Connect the device to the network using the wired interface and configure IP settings according to the network plan. Adjust the lens focal length between 3 and 10.5 mm to achieve the desired framing and focus. Verify image orientation and set the camera angle to cover the target area. Configure recording, compression and motion-detection features on the network video recorder (NVR) or Axis-compatible management software.

Recommendations

For optimal low-light performance, position the camera to avoid direct strong backlight and ensure indoor illumination levels are consistent. Use the varifocal lens to balance field of view and detail: shorter focal lengths for wider coverage and longer focal lengths for closer inspection. Follow local network security best practices and keep firmware up to date using official Axis updates.
