How to use

Connect the Cherry G84-4400 to a compatible PS/2 port on your computer or terminal. Position the keyboard on a stable surface and route the 1.75 m cable to avoid tension or interference. Use the QWERTY keys for standard typing and control input; no additional drivers are normally required for basic operation on systems that support PS/2 keyboards. If the host system is powered down when you connect, power it on after connection to ensure proper detection.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, keep the keyboard in a dry, dust-reduced environment and avoid exposing the cable to sharp bends or heavy loads. When integrating with industrial equipment, confirm PS/2 port availability and grounding practices recommended by the host system manufacturer.
