Beveiligingscamera Dahua IPC-HFW2649S-S-IL-0360B IP-camera

The Dahua IPC-HFW2649S-S-IL-0360B IP Camera delivers 4MP resolution and efficient H.265 video compression in a compact bullet form factor. Equipped with a 3.6 mm fixed lens, the camera provides wide-angle coverage suitable for monitoring entrances, parking areas and perimeter zones. Built for both indoor and outdoor use, it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation and includes infrared illumination that enables reliable night-time imaging up to 30 meters. The housing offers weather resistance for continuous operation in varied conditions.

Advantages

This camera combines high-resolution imaging with modern compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs without sacrificing detail. PoE support simplifies cabling by carrying power and data over a single network cable. The integrated IR LEDs and low-light performance maintain scene visibility after dark, while the durable exterior resists weather exposure for long-term outdoor deployment.

Suitable for

• Perimeter monitoring of residential and commercial properties
• Entryways, driveways and parking lots
• Retail interiors and warehouse aisles
• Small to medium business surveillance systems

Key specifications

• Image sensor and resolution: 4 megapixels
• Compression standard: H.265 (with H.264 backward compatibility)
• Lens: 3.6 mm fixed focal length for wide coverage
• Night vision: infrared illumination up to 30 meters
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
• Form factor: bullet-style housing suitable for wall or ceiling mounts

How to use

Mount the camera at the desired location using the included bracket or compatible mounting hardware, aiming the 3.6 mm lens to cover the target area. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable network switch or injector using a single Ethernet cable to provide both power and network connectivity. Configure IP settings and recording parameters through a compatible network video recorder (NVR) or Dahua management software, adjusting exposure and IR settings as needed to optimize image quality in different lighting conditions.

Recommendations

For best results, position the camera at a height and angle that minimizes direct light into the lens and maximizes subject coverage. Use a PoE switch that meets the camera's power requirements and enable H.265 streaming on your recorder to reduce storage consumption. Regularly inspect and clean the lens and housing to maintain clear images, and verify firmware updates from the manufacturer to ensure reliable operation.
