Beveiligingscamera DAHUA NET CAMERA 4MP dome DH-IPC-HDBW1439E1-A-IL-0280B-S6

The DAHUA NET CAMERA 4MP DOME (DH-IPC-HDBW1439E1-A-IL-0280B-S6) is a fixed dome network camera that captures 4 megapixel (2560 × 1440) video with a 28 mm focal length. Designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance, it includes a built-in microphone, IR illumination for low-light and night operation, and supports microSD cards up to 256 GB. The camera accepts 12 VDC power or Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af) and operates in temperatures from –40 °C to +60 °C.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 4 MP imaging suitable for identification and detailed monitoring. IR illumination and a low minimum illumination of 0.0005 Lux enable night and low-light recording. Built-in microphone adds audio capture for broader situational awareness, while PoE support simplifies installation by combining power and data over a single cable. The dome form factor offers vandal resistance and weather protection for outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter monitoring
• Indoor premises surveillance (lobbies, corridors, offices)
• Retail and commercial store security
• Small to medium-sized enterprise CCTV systems

Key specifications

• Resolution: 4 MP (2560 × 1440)
• Sensor size: 1/3"
• Focal length: 28 mm
• IR illumination for night vision; min. illumination 0.0005 Lux
• Built-in microphone
• Storage: supports microSD cards up to 256 GB

How to use

Mount the dome camera at the chosen indoor or outdoor location ensuring stable fastening and correct viewing angle for the 28 mm lens. Connect network and power either via a PoE switch/camera injector or a 12 VDC power supply; if using local storage, insert a compatible microSD card (up to 256 GB). Configure the camera through the network interface to set resolution, motion detection, IR behavior, audio settings and remote access. Verify the camera view and adjust positioning and focus if required.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor operation, use a properly rated weatherproof junction box and secure cabling. When deploying for identification tasks, position the camera to avoid extreme backlight and ensure sufficient scene illumination or rely on IR for night-time coverage. Use PoE where possible to simplify installation and reduce cabling complexity.
