Install the camera according to local mounting requirements, ensuring the IP66 enclosure faces outward and is secured to a stable surface. Insert a compatible microSD card (up to 512 GB) if local recording is required, and configure 4G settings or network connections via the camera’s web interface or Hikvision management software. Use the PTZ controls to set patrol routes, presets and tours as needed for the monitored area.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height and angle that maximise field of view while avoiding direct exposure to intense artificial light sources; regularly check firmware updates and verify microSD card health to maintain continuous recording.
