Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL1 ultralicht 1-persoons 3-seizoenen rugzak tent

Solo hikers and bikepackers counting every gram will appreciate the Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL1. This semi-freestanding, single-door shelter is built for three-season adventures when pack space is tight and weather can change quickly. With a packed weight of just 1.02 kg and a compact 14 x 46 cm roll, it vanishes into a backpack and leaves room for extra food or camera gear. Whether you're camped above treeline or in a damp forest, the double ripstop fly sheds rain while the mesh walls promote airflow. The low-profile shape also sheds wind and lets you sleep closer to the elements.

Why choose it

The Tiger Wall UL1 brings big-tent convenience to a tiny shelter. The hubbed pole system makes setup surprisingly quick, while the semi-freestanding design lets you pitch it with just trekking poles or stakes on hard ground. The mesh body keeps condensation down and gives you a bright, airy space to rest after a long day.

Ideal use cases

• Ultralight backpacking and thru-hiking
• Bikepacking trips where packed size matters
• Solo alpine or forest camping in three-season conditions
• Fastpacking and adventure racing

Good to know

The tent's footprint is sold separately, but the fast fly setup allows you to pitch the fly, poles, and footprint alone (0.65 kg) for a minimalist shelter. All seams are taped, and the DAC Featherlite NFL poles balance strength and weight. The double ripstop nylon fabric is silicone treated on both fly and floor for durable water resistance.
