BlueOptics SFP2121BU3MS InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 3 m LC geel

The BlueOptics SFP2121BU3MS InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m LC Yellow is a single-mode optical patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in networking environments. It uses G.657.A1 fibre type with a 125 µm core diameter and LC duplex connectors, providing low-loss connections and compatibility with InfiniBand transceivers and ports. The 3 m length and bright yellow jacket make it suitable for organized rack installations and short-distance backbone links where predictable performance and minimal attenuation are required.

Advantages

This cable offers low insertion loss and controlled bend performance thanks to the G.657.A1 fibre specification, helping to maintain signal integrity in confined cable-management paths. The LC duplex connectors ensure secure mating with standard SFP and QSFP transceivers used in InfiniBand systems. The 3 m length balances flexibility and signal quality for typical equipment-to-equipment connections within racks or between adjacent racks.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion to avoid signal degradation. Align the LC duplex connectors with the appropriate InfiniBand ports and insert them until they click into place, ensuring correct polarity where required. Route the cable following standard cable-management practices, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. If relocation or reconfiguration is needed, gently disengage the connectors using the release latch and reinsert into the new ports as required.

Recommendations

Maintain bend radii according to the G.657.A1 specification, avoid kinks, and keep connectors capped until installation to protect endfaces. For best performance, clean endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if contamination is suspected and verify link status after installation.
