BlueOptics Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-30M MPO-MPO Multimode-OM4-patchkabel 30 meter

With a bandwidth of 4700 MHz·km at 850 nm, this 30-meter MPO-MPO OM4 patch cable carries 40/100/200/400 Gigabit Ethernet over 12 parallel fibers with headroom to spare. It is the same cable Ubiquiti specifies for their UniFi data center interconnects, built to keep insertion loss under 0.35 dB and return loss above 20 dB across every mating cycle.

Overview

The BlueOptics UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-30M is a 12-fiber multi-mode OM4 patch cable terminated with male MPO connectors on both ends. It uses a Type B (cross-over) polarity, which is the standard for 40GBASE-SR4 and 100GBASE-SR4 parallel optics. The aqua LSZH jacket is low-smoke, zero-halogen, and flame-retardant, making it safe for dense data center environments. Each fiber is 50/125 µm, optimized for 850 nm VCSEL transmission and fully backward-compatible with OM3 infrastructure.

What stands out

• OM4 fiber supports 40GbE, 100GbE, 200GbE, and 400GbE over multi-mode links up to 150 m at 100G.
• MPO male connectors with Type B polarity align with Ubiquiti UniFi and most QSFP+/QSFP28/OSFP transceivers.
• LSZH jacket in aqua for instant identification of OM4 multi-mode cabling.
• 12 fibers in a single compact MPO interface reduce cable bulk and simplify high-density patching.
• Typical insertion loss ≤ 0.35 dB and return loss ≥ 20 dB ensure reliable signal integrity.
• 30-meter length is ideal for inter-rack or cross-row connections in medium to large data centers.

Our verdict

A factory-terminated, high-performance MPO-MPO OM4 trunk that eliminates field termination errors and delivers consistent, low-loss connectivity for today’s multi-gigabit data center fabrics. The 30-meter length and LSZH jacket make it a practical choice for structured cabling between racks or zones.
