Boorset Bosch EXPERT HEX-92608900598 — 5 stuks voor hardkeramiek

Bosch EXPERT HEX-92608900598 — 5 pieces for hard ceramic is a set of five hex-shank drill bits designed specifically for drilling through hard ceramic materials such as porcelain and dense wall tiles. The bits are shaped and finished to provide accurate hole positioning and to minimise chipping and cracking when used with compatible impact or rotary drills. The hex shank gives a secure grip in the drill chuck or quick-change adapter for consistent performance during repetitive tasks.

Advantages

The set delivers focused contact geometry for clean drilling edges and improved centring in ceramic surfaces. Hex shanks ensure stable retention in the chuck and reduce slippage under load. Bits are manufactured to withstand the high hardness of dense ceramics, offering longer service life than general-purpose masonry bits. The combination of precise tip design and durable material reduces breakouts and helps maintain tile integrity around the drilled hole.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in porcelain and hard ceramic tiles
• Bathroom and kitchen fixture installations requiring precise holes
• Repair and renovation works on walls and ceramic surfaces
• Use with impact and rotary drills that accept hex-shank bits

Key specifications

• Quantity: 5 pieces
• Shank type: hexagonal shank for secure chuck retention
• Material focus: engineered for hard ceramic and dense tile substrates
• Application type: rotary and impact drilling into ceramic surfaces
• Tip design: precision-ground tip to minimise chipping

How to use

Select the appropriate bit size for the required hole diameter and install the hex shank firmly in the drill chuck or quick-change holder. Begin drilling at low speed to establish the start point, then apply steady moderate pressure with the drill running at the recommended speed for ceramic materials. Use intermittent drilling or withdraw the bit occasionally to clear dust and reduce heat buildup. For best results, support the tile from behind when possible and avoid excessive force that could crack the ceramic.

Recommendations

Use water cooling or periodic pauses during extended drilling to reduce heat and extend bit life. When drilling glazed surfaces, start at low speed to avoid slipping and ensure alignment. Wear appropriate eye protection and a dust mask when working with ceramic dust.
