Boor Bosch SDS-Quick multiboor

The Bosch SDS-Quick Multi-purpose Drill Bit (5 mm x 100 mm, MPN 2609256911) is a single-piece, high-performance drill bit designed for rotary hammers. It offers durable construction for use across a wide range of materials including masonry, tiles, wood, thin metal and light concrete, reducing the need for frequent bit changes and supporting multi-layer materials.

Advantages

The SDS-Quick geometry provides fast and reliable insertion and removal in compatible rotary hammers while the multipurpose tip and hardened shaft deliver consistent drilling performance across different surfaces. Its single-piece design improves durability and reduces the chance of breakage or loosening during use. Suitable for both professional jobs and DIY tasks, the bit minimizes downtime caused by tool changes.

How to use

Install the drill bit into a compatible SDS-Quick rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Select the correct rotation and hammer mode for the material being drilled. Begin drilling at low speed to establish a pilot hole, then increase speed and apply steady pressure. Withdraw the bit periodically to remove debris and prevent overheating. After use, clean the bit and store it dry to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) and select the correct drill mode for each material. Do not use excessive side-load on the bit; for thicker steel or heavy concrete use material-specific drill bits.
