Bosch AdvancedRecip 18 300 spm zwart, groen

The Bosch AdvancedRecip 18 is a battery-powered reciprocating saw designed for medium-duty demolition and cutting tasks. Powered by an 18 V Lithium-Ion battery system, it delivers a maximum idle stroke rate of 300 strokes per minute and provides cutting depths up to 100 mm in wood and 20 mm in steel. Weighing approximately 2.5 kg, the tool balances power and mobility for work in confined or elevated locations. Built-in power protection protects the motor and battery from overheating and overload, extending service life and maintaining consistent performance under variable loads.

Advantages

The saw combines a compact, lightweight design with a high idle stroke rate for efficient cutting in wood, plastic, and metal profiles. Battery operation eliminates cord restrictions and enables use at remote sites. Integrated thermal and overload protection reduces the risk of motor damage during intensive use. The manageable weight and ergonomic handling improve control during plunge cuts, flush cuts, and controlled demolition.

Suitable for

• Plunge and flush cuts in timber framing and carpentry
• Removal of metal pipes, conduit and profile sections
• Site demolition where corded tools are impractical
• Renovation work requiring one-handed access in tight spaces

Key specifications

• Power source: 18 V Lithium-Ion battery
• Maximum idle stroke rate: 300 spm
• Cutting depth in wood: up to 100 mm
• Cutting depth in steel: up to 20 mm
• Weight: approximately 2.5 kg
• Protection: thermal and overload protection for motor and battery

How to use

Fit an appropriate reciprocating saw blade for the intended material, secure the workpiece, and confirm the battery is fully charged. Position the shoe against the material, align the blade with the cut line, and start the tool at full or variable speed as required. Use steady, controlled feed pressure; do not force the blade through the material. Periodically pause to allow the motor to cool during prolonged cutting sessions and inspect the blade for wear or damage before resuming.

Recommendations

For best results with the Bosch AdvancedRecip 18, select blades appropriate for wood, metal, or mixed materials, maintain a charged battery pack, and allow cool-down intervals during continuous heavy use to preserve motor life and battery performance.
