Bouwpakket Cobi PzKpfw VI Tiger Ausf. E - Executive Edition, 8000 onderdelen, kunststof, vanaf 12 jaar

The Cobi PzKpfw VI Tiger Ausf. E - Executive Edition is an 8,000-piece plastic building set that recreates the historic Tiger I tank in multicolour parts. Intended for builders aged 12 and up, this kit reproduces the exterior shape, functional running gear and a highly detailed interior including the Maybach HL230 engine, movable turret and opening hatches. When assembled, the model measures almost 70 cm in length and weighs close to 6 kg, offering a large-scale display model suitable for collection, educational use and advanced model-building projects.

Advantages

The model combines a high piece count with carefully reproduced interior and exterior details, including a photorealistic engine assembly made from around 300 elements, realistic wheels and functioning tracks, and a rotating turret with an elevating main gun. The kit introduces newly designed elements and improved torsion bars for more durable running gear, while opening hatches and a detailed crew compartment increase authenticity. The set is developed in cooperation with a military museum and reflects late-production features of the Ausf. E variant.

How to use

Follow the illustrated instruction manual supplied with the kit to assemble the model step by step. Begin by sorting parts by shape and colour to streamline construction of the chassis and running gear, then build the interior compartments and engine before fitting the upper hull and turret. Use the recommended tools for precision (for example small plastic nippers and a modeling file) to remove parts cleanly from sprues if required. Handle small elements carefully and work on a flat, well-lit surface to maintain alignment of tracks and moving components.

Recommendations

Intended for ages 12 and up; younger users should assemble under adult supervision. For best long-term display, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and dust the model periodically. If used for educational demonstration, prepare assembly stages in advance to highlight specific technical features such as the engine, torsion-bar suspension and working tracks.
