Bouwpakket Fischertechnik Advanced Universal Pro modelbouwpakket 571903 – modulaire STEM-bouwpakket

Fischertechnik 571903 is a 217-piece construction set designed for children aged 7 and older. The set contains black, grey and orange parts in a variety of shapes that allow building mechanical models and simple machines. Included components and illustrated instructions support hands-on exploration of basic engineering principles while encouraging spatial reasoning and fine motor skills during open-ended play and guided projects.

Advantages

The set provides a compact yet versatile selection of parts to create multiple functioning models, including a paper airplane launcher, a labyrinth and a painting machine. Components are durable and designed for repeated assembly and disassembly, which supports iterative learning and experimentation. Color-coding and varied shapes expand design options and make it easier to follow instructions and recognise components during construction.

Suitable for

• STEM education activities in classroom or home settings
• Hands-on learning of mechanical principles and simple mechanisms
• Creative free-building and design challenges for children aged 7+
• Group projects, clubs and after-school makerspace activities

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 217
• Recommended minimum age: 7 years
• Colours: black, grey, orange
• Includes parts for multiple mechanical models such as launchers, mazes and painting mechanisms
• Material: durable plastic components designed for repeated use

How to use

Follow the included illustrated instructions to assemble the provided models step by step. Begin with simpler constructions to familiarise the child with basic connectors and moving parts, then progress to the more complex assemblies such as the launcher or painting machine. Use the set for guided lessons or free exploration; combine parts from different model instructions to create customised designs. Supervise younger children during construction to ensure small parts are handled safely.

Recommendations

Suitable for individual play or small groups. Use on a flat, stable surface and keep a clear workspace to avoid losing small parts. Store components in labelled containers to speed up future sessions and extend the product life by cleaning parts with a damp cloth when needed. Integrate the set into simple STEM activities by asking children to predict how changing a component affects movement or function.
