Advantages

The FRITZ 5690 Pro combines the latest Wi‑Fi 7 tri-band radio technology with a high combined throughput, enabling multiple simultaneous high-bandwidth streams and low-latency performance. A 2.5 GbE LAN interface and SFP (LC) fiber connector provide flexible wired uplink options for fiber or high-speed Ethernet connections. Integrated USB and web-based management simplify file sharing and device administration.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This router is optimized for users who need the latest Wi‑Fi 7 features and multi-gigabit wired connectivity. It may be unnecessary for very small households with only a few low-bandwidth devices or for users who do not require fiber or multi‑GbE uplinks. For extremely large premises requiring enterprise-grade management and multiple access points, a dedicated business-class wireless system may be more appropriate.
