How to use

Place the FRITZ! Repeater 2700 within range of your FRITZ!Box to ensure good backhaul signal. For wireless setup, press the pairing button on both devices to let the repeater adopt the router's Wi‑Fi configuration automatically; for a wired backhaul, connect the repeater to the router using an Ethernet cable into the 2.5‑gigabit LAN port. After installation, manage settings and firmware updates via the FRITZ! web interface or mobile device.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position the repeater midway between the router and coverage gap, avoid sources of interference, and keep firmware updated. Use wired backhaul via the 2.5‑gigabit port where possible to maximize stability and throughput for high‑bandwidth devices.
