CEE camera dummy IR9000 B IR LED – camera-dummy met IR-LED

CEE Camera dummy IR9000 B IR LED is a non-functional imitation security camera that replicates the look of a surveillance device. Designed to mimic a working IP camera, it includes a visible infrared (IR) LED element to suggest night-vision capability and create the impression of continuous monitoring. The model is intended for visible deterrence in indoor and outdoor areas such as homes, shops, offices and parking spaces.

Advantages

The dummy camera is lightweight and easy to install, offering an economical option to increase perceived security without the cost or maintenance of a real surveillance system. The visible IR LED enhances realism after dark, while the weather-resistant housing design provides a credible appearance for exterior mounting. As a non-electrical unit it requires minimal care and no ongoing power supply.

How to use

Choose a visible mounting location that provides a clear sightline over the area you want to deter. Secure the dummy camera using the included screws or suitable fixings for the mounting surface, and angle the unit to face the target zone. If the model includes an internal battery for the visible IR LED, install batteries according to the manufacturer instructions and verify the LED is functioning. For the most convincing appearance, mount the unit at a similar height and angle to genuine surveillance cameras.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the housing and mounting to ensure the unit remains securely fixed and the LED remains visible; combine dummy cameras with real security measures such as proper lighting and alarm systems for improved overall protection.
