Dummy-buis camera CEE IR1800 B, gesimuleerde bewakingscamera met IR-LED's, zwart

Dummy tube camera CEE IR1800 B is a non-functional imitation surveillance camera in black with visible IR LEDs. It creates the appearance of an active security device without recording or transmitting video, making it a low-cost visual deterrent for areas where installing a real camera is unnecessary or impractical. The unit is designed for simple wall or ceiling mounting and requires minimal maintenance.

Advantages

The dummy camera features a realistic tubular housing and prominent IR LED elements that simulate night-vision capability, enhancing the impression of continuous monitoring. Its lightweight construction and compact dimensions allow for easy installation on most indoor and sheltered outdoor surfaces. Because it does not contain electronic recording components, there is no power consumption beyond an optional small battery for LED indication, and no need for network configuration or ongoing system maintenance.

How to use

Position the dummy camera CEE IR1800 B in a visible location where it can be seen from main traffic paths or entry points. Use the supplied mounting bracket and screws to attach the unit to a wall or ceiling; ensure the surface is stable and appropriate for hardware installation. If the model includes an indicator LED, insert the recommended battery following the polarity marks, then test the LED visibility in low light. No wiring, network setup, or recording configuration is required.

Recommendations

For greatest deterrent effect, combine placement of the dummy camera with clear sight lines and good lighting. Avoid exposure to direct rain or heavy weather; install under eaves or in covered areas when used outdoors. If a monitored or recorded solution is needed in the future, consider replacing the dummy unit with a functional IP camera from the same mounting footprint.
