Coax-haakse koppeling ShiverPeaks 82021-K — klein formaat, haakse coaxstekker

The Coaxial Angle Coupling ShiverPeaks 82021-K — small size, coaxial angled connector is a compact right-angle coaxial coupling intended for joining two compatible coaxial cables where straight connections are impractical. Designed for installations with limited space or where cable routing requires a 90° turn, this small angled connector maintains signal continuity for audio, video, RF and telecommunications lines while minimising stress on cable terminations.

Advantages

This small coaxial angled connector offers a low-profile form factor that reduces the required clearance behind equipment and inside enclosures. The right-angle design helps manage cable routing in tight spaces and prevents sharp bends at the cable entry point. Manufactured for reliable mechanical contact, the coupling preserves signal integrity across standard coaxial cable runs and simplifies retrofits or repairs without re-terminating cables.

Suitable for

• Audio and video installations with limited rear clearance
• RF patching in test benches and communication racks
• Telecommunications and CCTV systems where angled routing is needed
• Repair or extension of existing coaxial cable runs without replacing terminations

Key specifications

• Connector type: coaxial right-angle coupling in a small form factor
• Mechanical configuration: 90° angular joint for coaxial cable connection
• Primary use: signal transmission for audio, video, RF and telecom lines
• Mounting/installation: inline coupling for joining two cable ends in confined spaces
• Materials and finish: corrosion-resistant conductive contacts and compact insulating body

How to use

Align the connector ends with the mating coaxial cable plugs or cable terminations and push them together until a secure mechanical contact is achieved. Ensure the cables are oriented to follow the 90° routing provided by the coupling and avoid applying torque to the connector after installation. Verify continuity and signal quality with appropriate test equipment to confirm a reliable joint before closing equipment panels or enclosures.

Recommendations

For best results, use the angled coupling with compatible coaxial cable types and connectors to avoid impedance mismatches. When installing in permanent or vibration-prone environments, verify the mechanical retention and consider strain relief for the attached cables to reduce stress at the joint.
