Coaxiale antennekabel ShiverPeaks 80018-20 100% afgeschermd BK-compatibel, 75 dB dempingswaarde

The ShiverPeaks coaxial antenna cable 80018-20 is a 20.0 m, BK-compatible cable with full (100%) shielding and a specified attenuation of 75 dB. Designed for reliable radio and TV signal transmission, this coaxial cable reduces electromagnetic interference and signal leakage, making it suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor installations where continuous shielding is required. The cable is supplied in white and intended for connecting antennas, tuners, set-top boxes and distribution components within residential and commercial setups.

Advantages

This cable provides complete electromagnetic shielding to minimise ingress and egress of interference and to maintain signal integrity over longer runs. The BK-compatible design ensures compatibility with common European antenna systems and connector types. With a defined attenuation characteristic of 75 dB, the cable offers predictable performance for planning and troubleshooting signal paths. Its 20.0 m length allows flexible placement of DVB-T/DVB-C antennas or distribution points without the immediate need for additional amplifiers in many installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV or radio antennas to tuners and set-top boxes
• Signal distribution within apartments, houses and small commercial premises
• Indoor installations and protected outdoor runs where full shielding is required
• Replacement of existing coaxial runs to improve interference immunity

Key specifications

• Length: 20.0 m
• Shielding: 100% (full shield)
• Compatibility: BK-compatible for common antenna systems
• Attenuation: specified 75 dB
• Colour: white
• Intended use: TV, radio and signal distribution

How to use

Run the coaxial cable between the antenna and the receiver or distribution point, avoiding sharp bends and kinks. Use appropriate BK-compatible connectors and ensure secure, corrosion-free connections at each end. If routing outdoors, protect the cable from prolonged direct sunlight and water ingress using suitable conduits or cable clips and sealant at connection points. Test signal levels after installation and, if necessary, adjust antenna position or add passive/active signal components to optimise reception.

Recommendations

For best results, maintain gentle cable bends (radius greater than 5× cable diameter), avoid running parallel to power lines to reduce interference, and use weatherproofed connectors for any exposed outdoor connections. When extending runs beyond 20 m or when experiencing low signal levels, evaluate signal attenuation and consider an inline amplifier or a distribution amplifier as appropriate.
