Coaxstekker F-type Televes FSI2000

The Televes FSI2000 is a precision F-type coaxial connector engineered for 75 Ω impedance systems. Designed to provide consistent signal transmission with minimal insertion loss, this connector supports audio and video distribution in domestic and professional installations. Its metal construction and accurate dimensions ensure stable mechanical connection and resistance to wear under regular use.

Advantages

The F-type connector delivers low insertion loss and stable impedance matching, reducing signal reflections and degradation across the connection. Its rugged metal housing offers mechanical durability and reliable contact over repeated mating cycles. The connector’s standard F-type interface simplifies integration with existing coaxial cables and devices, enabling quick, tool-assisted or hand-tight installations depending on the application.

Suitable for

• Television antenna connections and set-top box links
• Cable television (CATV) distribution points
• Satellite LNB and receiver interconnections where F-type is applicable
• Home AV systems and video surveillance links using 75 Ω coaxial cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type coaxial connector for 75 Ω systems
• Impedance: 75 ohms for consistent RF performance
• Material: metal housing and center contact for durable electrical contact
• Interface: standard threaded F-type coupling for secure connection
• Intended use: passive signal coupling for audio/video and RF applications

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the braid to expose the dielectric and center conductor according to the connector’s recommended strip dimensions. Slide the connector onto the cable until the center conductor is fully engaged in the pin contact and the dielectric seats against the connector shoulder. Tighten the threaded coupling by hand or with an appropriate tool to achieve a secure mechanical and electrical connection, taking care not to over-torque and deform the connector or cable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use 75 Ω coaxial cable with matching impedance and ensure clean, solid conductor contacts. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and protect the junction from moisture and mechanical stress. Verify signal levels after installation and periodically inspect connections in high-usage or outdoor environments to maintain consistent transmission quality.
