Composiet-videokabel Schwaiger CIK5015 1,5 m 3 x RCA zwart

The Schwaiger CIK5015 1.5m composite video cable with 3 x RCA connectors provides a straightforward wired connection for analogue audio and video components. Designed to link devices such as DVD players, older gaming consoles, set-top boxes and televisions, the cable carries a composite video signal along with left and right audio channels over three separate RCA plugs. The 1.5 metre length offers moderate reach suitable for typical home entertainment arrangements while the black jacket provides a discreet appearance in most setups.

Advantages

This composite cable separates video and stereo audio into three dedicated RCA connectors to maintain correct signal routing and minimize cross-channel interference. The fixed 1.5 m length balances convenience and cable management, reducing excess slack behind media furniture. The robust outer sheath and molded connector housings improve durability for repeated connection cycles. Compatibility with widely used RCA ports ensures simple plug-and-play use without additional configuration.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD or Blu-ray players to TVs with composite inputs
• Wiring older gaming consoles and retro systems to displays
• Linking set-top boxes, VCRs or camcorders with RCA outputs
• Temporary AV setups for presentations or events

Key specifications

• Cable type: composite analogue AV cable (3 RCA connectors)
• Length: 1.5 metres
• Connectors per end: 3 × RCA (video, left audio, right audio)
• Jacket colour: black
• Signal supported: composite video and stereo audio (analogue)

How to use

Identify the composite input jacks on the display device and the corresponding output jacks on the source device, matching the yellow plug for video and the white/red plugs for left and right audio. Firmly insert each RCA connector into its colour-coded socket until a snug fit is achieved. If the display or source has multiple RCA jacks, verify labels or manual to ensure correct matching. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display to view the incoming composite signal.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs as short as practical to reduce signal degradation typical of analogue composite connections. Avoid routing the cable alongside power cords or high-interference sources. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or bent pins and ensure a secure, colour-matched connection to prevent audio/video misalignment.
