Why choose it

The Conceptronic DONN36B combines speed, convenience and capacity. With two independent bays, you can copy from one drive to another, see both drives as separate volumes, or use it as a permanent desktop storage unit. The sturdy plastic housing keeps drives secure, while the included power adapter ensures stable operation even with high-capacity 3.5" HDDs that require a 12V supply. This docking station is compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives, whether they are HDDs or SSDs, and supports capacities up to 16 TB per bay. The USB hub is best used for low-power devices like mice or USB sticks. For additional drive bays, remember that two 3.5" drives fit side by side; the unit is designed for desktop use. The included AC adapter covers the power requirements of both bays and the hub.

Ideal use cases

• Quick data migration from an old HDD to a new SSD
• Regular backups without opening the computer case
• Forensic or IT troubleshooting on SATA drives
• Expanding laptop storage via external drives
• Connecting USB peripherals through the built-in hub
