Constructieset Cobi R.M.S. Titanic Model 593 onderdelen COBI-1680 — schaalgetrouwe modelbouwstenen

Cobi R.M.S. Titanic is a 593-piece construction set that recreates the historic ocean liner as a detailed scale model. The kit contains numbered pieces for step-by-step assembly, distinctive exterior and deck elements, and modular sections that allow building in stages and make the finished model suitable for shelf display or educational demonstration. The finished model emphasizes external lines and deck layout consistent with the original ship and is intended for hobbyists and collectors who prefer a moderate-size, detailed build.

Advantages

The set provides a precise, numbered assembly process that simplifies construction while preserving model accuracy. Pieces are compatible with standard building-block systems and include specialized parts to represent funnels, lifeboats, and deck structures. The modular design enables partial assembly for transport or staged display, and the final model is stable enough for static display on shelves or in showcases. The compact piece count balances building time with visible detail, making the kit accessible to experienced builders and motivated beginners.

Suitable for

• Hobbyists and model builders seeking a historically inspired ship model
• Collectors looking for a compact but detailed display piece
• Educational settings for teaching history, engineering basics, or ship design
• Hands-on projects and leisure building sessions

Key specifications

• Piece count: 593 pieces
• Scale model: detailed representation of R.M.S. Titanic exterior and deck
• Construction type: numbered pieces for step-by-step assembly
• Materials: ABS plastic building blocks compatible with standard block systems
• Display format: modular sections for staged assembly and shelf presentation

How to use

Follow the included step-by-step numbered instructions to assemble the model in logical stages. Begin with the hull and base sections to establish a stable foundation, then add deck layers, funnels, and smaller details such as lifeboats and railings. Work on a clean, flat surface with adequate lighting and separate small parts by type before starting each instruction step. After completing assembly, position the modular sections together for display and place the model on a stable shelf or inside a display case to protect it from dust and accidental knocks.

Recommendations

Inspect pieces before assembly and keep the instruction booklet nearby. Use tweezers for small parts if necessary and avoid forcing pieces into place to prevent damage. For long-term display, keep the model away from direct sunlight and high humidity to preserve color and part fit. Supervise children during assembly according to their age and skill level.
