Corning PVDF warmtekrimpkous grijs 3cm 25-pack FAN-BT-3CM-25

Identifying and protecting individual fibers in fan-out kits can be a challenge, especially when working with tight buffer tubes in high-density fiber optic installations. This PVDF heat shrink tubing provides a reliable solution for color-coding, insulation, and strain relief in demanding environments.

Who is it for

Network technicians and fiber optic installers who need durable, chemical-resistant tubing for fan-out kits, splice protection, and cable identification in industrial or outdoor settings.

Main features

• Made from cross-linked PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) for excellent chemical resistance and mechanical strength.
• Grey color for neutral coding; each piece is 3 cm long before shrinking.
• Supplied in a pack of 25 pieces, ideal for small to medium projects.
• 2:1 shrink ratio allows the tubing to conform tightly to irregular shapes.
• Operating temperature range from -55°C to +175°C, suitable for harsh environments.

Specifications

• Material: Cross-linked PVDF
• Colour: Grey
• Length per piece: 30 mm
• Quantity per pack: 25 pieces
• Shrink ratio: 2:1
• Inner diameter before shrinking: 1.2 mm
• Inner diameter after shrinking: 0.6 mm
• Wall thickness (recovered): 0.25 mm
• Minimum shrink temperature: 150°C
• Dielectric strength: >20 kV/mm

Tips

Use a heat gun set to at least 150°C for uniform shrinking. For best results, ensure the tubing is centered over the splice or connector before applying heat.
