Why choose it

The XVR1B08H-I/T is part of Dahua's Lite series and combines penta-brid connectivity with AI-powered analytics. It enables you to upgrade to IP cameras in stages while retaining existing analog cameras, making it a cost-effective solution for modernising security systems. The H.265+ codec cuts bandwidth and storage requirements by up to 70% compared to H.264, while the onboard AI reduces false alarms.

Ideal use cases

• Small retail shops and supermarkets with mixed camera types
• Office buildings that require clear, high-definition recordings
• Residential estates and gated communities looking for an upgradeable DVR

Good to know

This model does not include a hard disk – compatible SATA drives up to 10TB can be installed separately. It also lacks PoE, so IP cameras must be powered individually or via a separate switch. For quick installation, use the mobile app and browser-based interface.
