DC-holestekker-adapter DELOCK 5,5 x 2,5 mm bus-op-bus met schroefdraad, recht, zwart

DELOCK 5.5 x 2.5 mm female-to-female DC barrel jack adapter in a straight, threaded black housing provides a compact means to extend or join DC power leads with matching plugs. The adapter accepts standard 5.5 x 2.5 mm male barrels on both ends and secures the connection via the external thread on the housing, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection in installations that require a stable low-voltage power feed.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple and space-efficient solution for connecting two DC power cables without soldering or modifications. Its threaded housing ensures a firmer mechanical connection compared with push-fit types, while the straight form factor maintains cable alignment and minimizes bend stress near the connection point. The black finish provides a neutral appearance suitable for consumer and professional equipment.

How to use

Align each male 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC plug with the corresponding female end of the adapter and push the plug gently into place. Rotate or screw the threaded housing if needed to secure the connection and reduce movement. Ensure the connection is fully seated before applying power. Use the adapter inline between two cable ends or between a cable and a device to achieve the desired extension or join.

Recommendations

Verify that both plugs and the adapter share the same polarity and voltage rating suitable for your device. Avoid using the adapter in environments with excessive moisture or where the thread cannot provide sufficient strain relief. For permanent installs, consider additional cable management or strain relief to prevent mechanical stress on the connector.
