DeLOCK audiokabel 2 m RJ-45 2 x RCA zwart 88171

The DeLOCK audio cable 2 m RJ-45 2 x RCA Black 88171 is a 2-metre audio interconnect designed to link devices with an RJ-45 audio output to equipment with dual RCA inputs. The cable features gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance, and a black jacket that provides basic mechanical protection for everyday installations. It is intended for analog audio signal transmission between compatible components in home or professional audio setups.

Advantages

The cable's gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and help maintain signal clarity over time. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management for typical rack, shelf, or tabletop arrangements. The combination of RJ-45 to 2 x RCA connectors allows direct connection without additional adapters when matching device interfaces are present. The black outer sheath provides a discreet appearance and basic protection against wear.

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting to avoid transient noise. Insert the RJ-45 plug into the device's corresponding RJ-45 audio output until it clicks into place. Connect the two RCA plugs to the left and right RCA input jacks on the receiving device, matching channel colours where applicable. After connections are secure, power the devices and set the appropriate input selection on the receiving equipment. Adjust levels gradually to confirm correct channel routing and to avoid overload.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from mains power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality. Avoid tight bends or kinks and do not subject the cable to constant tension. For permanent or professional installations, verify impedance compatibility between connected devices and consider shielded runs or alternative cabling if long-distance or balanced transmission is required.
