DELOCK coaxiale USB Type-C naar DisplayPort-kabel (DP Alt Mode) 4K 60 Hz, 2 m, zwart

This Delock coaxial USB Type-C to DisplayPort cable allows connecting a DisplayPort monitor to devices with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The cable is 2 m long, has USB Type-C and DisplayPort straight male connectors and a compact, flexible coaxial design with a black braided outer covering for improved durability and handling.

Advantages

The cable supports video output up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz when the host device implements DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Its coaxial construction and small diameter make the cable flexible and easy to route, while the braided black coating increases resistance to wear. The straight USB-C and DisplayPort connectors provide a direct, cable-only connection without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, tablets or smartphones with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 (DisplayPort Alt Mode) to DisplayPort monitors
• Driving external displays, TVs or projectors for office work, presentations or multimedia playback
• Setups where a flexible, 2 m cable length is preferred for desktop or meeting-room use

When it may not be suitable

The cable requires the source device to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over the USB-C port; it will not carry video from USB-C ports that lack this feature. It is not an adapter for converting from DisplayPort to USB-C in the opposite direction and does not provide power delivery or USB data transfer beyond video signal transmission.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector A: USB Type-C (straight, male)
• Connector B: DisplayPort (straight, male)
• Maximum resolution and refresh rate: 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz
• Colour: Black with braided outer covering
• Cable type: Coaxial, flexible, small diameter

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C end to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and plug the DisplayPort end into the monitor or display. Select the appropriate input on the monitor and configure the display settings on the host device if required. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and route the 2 m cable to prevent strain on ports.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your laptop, tablet or smartphone supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C
• Confirm that your monitor accepts DisplayPort input
• Decide whether a 2 m cable length and a flexible coaxial design meet your installation needs

Recommendations

For reliable 4K@60 Hz output, use with a host device that explicitly supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and select the DisplayPort input on the monitor. Handle the cable gently near connectors and avoid tight bends to maintain signal integrity and extend cable life.
