DeLOCK glasvezel-aansluitdoos 2 x SC simplex LC duplex wit

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Connection Box is a wall-mount enclosure for organizing and protecting fiber optic terminations. It accepts either two SC Simplex or two LC Duplex couplings and is made of durable ABS material. With compact dimensions (86 x 86 x 24 mm), the white box provides a tidy and secure mounting option for optical fiber networks in residential or small commercial installations.

Advantages

The enclosure supports both SC Simplex and LC Duplex connector types, allowing flexible use with common fiber connectors. Its ABS construction offers mechanical protection for fiber couplings and splices while keeping a low-profile footprint for discreet wall installation. The pre-sized interior accommodates up to two couplings and simplifies cable routing and organization.

How to use

Mount the box on a prepared wall surface using appropriate screws and anchors. Install up to two SC Simplex or LC Duplex adapter units into the internal openings, route the incoming fiber cables through the designated entry points, and terminate or connect fibers to the adapters following standard fiber-handling procedures. Close the cover to secure the connections and protect them from dust and mechanical contact.

Recommendations

Handle fibers with care and follow established fiber optic installation practices: use proper stripping and cleaving tools, avoid sharp bends, maintain minimum bend radii, and perform inspection and testing (e.g., visual inspection, power meter or OTDR) after installation to verify connection quality.
