DeLOCK glasvezelkabel LC duplex naar SC duplex OM3 1 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex OM3 1m is a 1‑metre OM3 multimode fiber patch cable with LC duplex on one end and SC duplex on the other, intended for full‑duplex data transmission between network devices. The cable features metal armouring for increased protection against moisture, dust, rodents and other physical damage while remaining bendable and flexible. It is suitable for connecting switches, media converters and similar networking equipment.

Advantages

The metal armouring provides enhanced mechanical protection and improved resistance to environmental influences without sacrificing flexibility. OM3 multimode fiber supports high‑speed short‑range transmission, and the LC and SC duplex connectors allow reliable full‑duplex connections with common networking devices. The construction offers good tensile strength for stable installations.

How to use

Inspect connector end faces for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary. Align and insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port and the SC duplex connector into the SC port until they click into place. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; observe minimum bend radius recommendations for multimode fiber. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull gently to disconnect.

Recommendations

Use the metal‑armoured cable in environments where additional mechanical protection is required, such as exposed trays or areas with potential rodent activity. Keep connectors dust‑free with protective caps when not connected and avoid tight bends to preserve fiber performance.
