DeLOCK glasvezelkabel LC Duplex naar SC Duplex OM3 3 m

DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex OM3 3 m is a multi-mode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network environments. The cable uses OM3 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter and features LC duplex and SC duplex connectors. A metal armouring around the cable increases resistance to mechanical damage and environmental influences while maintaining flexibility.

Advantages

The metal armouring provides enhanced protection against moisture, dust and rodent damage while keeping the cable bendable. OM3 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core supports high data rates over short to medium distances. The combination of LC duplex and SC duplex connectors ensures compatibility with common networking devices such as switches and media converters.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the cable between the two devices ensuring connector types match the ports (LC duplex to SC duplex). Avoid sharp bends and keep bend radius within manufacturer recommendations to preserve signal quality. Insert connectors firmly until the latch engages and verify link status on the connected devices.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tensile load. Use in indoor installations or protected conduits; the metal armouring improves mechanical protection but does not substitute for proper cable management and strain relief.
