DeLOCK glasvezelkoppeling LC simplex bus naar LC simplex bus OM3 aqua

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Coupler LC Simplex female to LC Simplex female OM3 aqua provides a compact, standardized connection between two LC Simplex optical fiber connectors. It accepts LC Simplex female terminated fibers with OM3 multimode specification and is finished in aqua to match OM3 cabling. The small form factor and standardized interface make it suitable for installation in fiber connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels.

Advantages

The coupler offers a direct, low-loss mechanical connection between two LC Simplex female connectors and supports OM3 multimode fibers. Its compact dimensions (13.3 mm × 25.7 mm × 9.5 mm) allow easy mounting in tight spaces. An included dust cover protects the sleeve from contamination when the coupler is not in use.

How to use

Align the LC Simplex male connector of the optical fiber cable with the female port of the coupler and insert it until it clicks into place. Repeat for the second cable to establish the optical connection. When the coupler is not in use, place the supplied dust cover over the sleeve to prevent contamination. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, inspect and, if necessary, clean fiber endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before connection. Use the dust cover when the coupler is idle and avoid excessive bending of connected fiber cables to prevent increased insertion loss.
