Deuropener Yale FF 6–12V AC/DC mechanische ontgrendeling, model 17E iW rechts

The Yale FF door opener model 17E iW Right is a low-voltage electric door release designed for right-hand installations. It operates on 6–12V AC/DC and includes a mechanical release for manual override. The unit is intended for secure electric locking and remote access control in residential and light commercial settings where a compact, reliable low-voltage solution is required.

Advantages

The mechanism provides dependable electric release at 6–12V AC/DC, reducing the need for high-voltage wiring. The built-in mechanical release enables manual operation during power interruptions or for maintenance access. The right-hand orientation and compact form factor simplify installation in standard door frames and strike plates. Yale engineering ensures consistent operation and compatibility with common access control systems that accept low-voltage door openers.

Suitable for

• Residential entrance doors with right-hand swing
• Apartment building common doors and intercom systems
• Light commercial doors such as small offices and retail premises
• Doors requiring low-voltage operation and mechanical override for emergency access

Key specifications

• Operating voltage: 6–12V AC/DC
• Release type: Mechanical release (manual override)
• Handing: Right-hand orientation
• Function: Electric door opener for remote access control
• Construction: Compact electric strike compatible with standard door frames

How to use

Install the Yale FF 17E iW Right in the door frame aligned with the existing latch or deadbolt strike using appropriate mounting hardware and wiring for 6–12V AC/DC power. Connect the low-voltage supply and any access-control wiring according to the access system’s instructions. In normal operation, the device unlocks electrically when a control signal is applied. If power is lost or manual access is required, operate the mechanical release to open the door. Ensure correct handing during installation so the unit aligns with right-hand door swings.

Recommendations

Use a regulated 6–12V AC or DC power source sized to the installer’s specifications and compatible with the connected access control system. Verify the handing of the door before installation and test the mechanical release after wiring. For long-term reliability, perform periodic checks of electrical connections, the strike alignment, and mechanical release operation. If integrating with an intercom or security system, follow that system’s installation guidelines to ensure correct signalling and safe operation.
