Diffuser-disc EUROLITE AKKU Dot 1 RGB/WW QuickDMX zwart – draagbare RGB- en warmwit-diffusieschijf voor AKKU Dot 1

Diffuser Disc for the EUROLITE AKKU Dot 1 RGB/WW QuickDMX Black is an accessory designed to fit the AKKU Dot 1 fixture and convert its concentrated RGB and warm white output into a softer, more even illumination. The disc mounts directly to the light head and reduces visible hotspots and harsh shadows, making the fixture better suited for ambient lighting, soft washes and photographic applications where more uniform light distribution is required.

Advantages

The diffuser disc improves beam uniformity and creates a broader, gentler light field without altering the fixture's colour palette. It is quick and simple to attach and remove, maintaining the portability of the AKKU Dot 1. By scattering light from the RGB/WW sources, the disc reduces specular highlights and helps achieve smoother transitions between colours and intensity levels.

How to use

Align the diffuser disc with the front of the AKKU Dot 1 fixture and engage the tool-free mounting mechanism until it clicks into place. Power on the fixture and select the desired RGB or warm white settings; the disc will immediately soften and widen the output. To remove, depress the release points and pull the disc away from the fixture. The accessory is intended only for use with the specified AKKU Dot 1 model and should be stored in a protective pouch when not in use to avoid scratches.

Recommendations

Use the diffuser disc when smoother, low-contrast lighting is needed; avoid using it where tight beams or high-intensity, focussed spots are required. For mixed-colour scenes, allow a brief warm-up after colour changes to let the diffused output stabilise. Clean the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth and mild soapy water; do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
