DIGITUS 1x2 HDMI-splitter 4K/60Hz HDCP 2.2 EDID Control

The DIGITUS 4K HDMI Splitter (1x2) duplicates an HDMI source to two displays — TVs, monitors or projectors — supporting up to 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 60 Hz with HDMI 2.0 capability. The compact metal-cased device provides 18 Gbps video bandwidth, HDR and HDCP 2.2 support, and accepts power via the included Micro USB cable. EDID management offers Auto, Copy and Downscaler modes; the Downscaler allows 4K content to be output to Full HD screens and the splitter can drive a 4K and a Full HD display simultaneously.

Advantages

The splitter mirrors one HDMI input to two outputs without manual configuration thanks to Auto-EDID, and supports high-quality video features such as HDR, Deep Color (36-bit) and HDCP 2.2. With EDID modes (Auto/Copy/Downscaler) it ensures compatibility across mixed-resolution displays. The metal housing and compact dimensions (approx. 90 × 44 × 14 mm) make it suitable for installation in conference and AV setups, and power via Micro USB increases installation flexibility.

Suitable for

• Presentations in meeting rooms and conference halls
• Duplicating video signals to two TVs or monitors
• Connecting one media player or laptop to two displays simultaneously
• Situations requiring 4K output or downscaling to Full HD

The device will try Auto-EDID by default; if needed, change the EDID mode to Copy or Downscaler to match display capabilities or to downscale 4K to Full HD.

Recommendations

For stable 4K@60Hz performance use high-quality HDMI 2.0 cables and ensure the source device and displays support the intended formats. When operating mixed-resolution displays, select the Downscaler EDID mode if Full HD outputs are required.
